inspection of your gas meterand gas connection
We regularly inspect our gas network to keep it safe and reliable. For this reason, we will inspect the gas meter and gas connection in your building. We will visit your home on the date and time shown on the poster.
What you can expect
During the visit:
- We may ring your doorbell and ask for access to your meter cupboard.
- We may take photos of your gas meter and gas connection.
- The inspection takes no longer than 10 minutes.
- We only carry out the inspection if someone aged 18 or older is present.
- Your gas and electricity supply will remain available during the inspection.
Ask for identification
You can ask the technician to show their Stedin identification card before letting them in.
